Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026 · Blizzard Maps, a Serverific project

This policy explains what Blizzard Maps ("we", "us") collects, why, and what we do and don't do with it. Blizzard Maps is operated by Serverific (Tom Blizzard). If anything here is unclear, email [email protected].

What we collect

How we use it

Your location data is private by default

A saved ride is a record of where you were and when — we treat it as sensitive. Your rides are visible only to you. We do not make your rides public, and we do not expose them to other users. If sharing features are added in the future, sharing will always be something you choose and can revoke — never on by default.

What we do NOT do

Third-party services

To provide maps and terrain, the service loads map tiles and elevation data from third-party providers. Your browser contacts those providers to fetch imagery; we do not send them your account information. If you sign in with a third-party provider (such as Google) in the future, that provider handles your sign-in according to its own policy.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and ride data until you delete it or ask us to delete your account. You can delete individual saved rides at any time. To delete your account and associated data, email [email protected].

Security

Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Blizzard Maps is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page.
